The Lodhi

Delhi is a historic city in a historic country. A land that has known millions of cultures, religions and changes, India is a mixture of the old and the new.

The official Indian capital since 1911, New Delhi stands on the Yamuna River on the western end of the gangetic plain in Northern India. Continuously inhabited since the 6th century, Old Delhi and New Delhi are no longer separate cities but are now a seamless, vibrant entity with many layers of history and culture.

In its vibrant capital the Lodhi Hotel takes pride in its rich history, taking on the name of the dynasty that preluded the Mughal Rule in India: the Lodhi Dynasty. The mighty rule of this pashtun dynasty lasted from 1451 to 1526, across northern India.

This beautiful hotel is the only true boutique hotel in New Delhi, located on a seven-acre site. The Lodhi is intimate but spacious with expansive grounds and gardens. With the feeling of a club-like retreat away from the bustling of the city, the hotel feels like an exquisitely beautiful weekend house, but is actually perfectly located in the heart of Delhi.

Located on the edge of Lutyens Delhi and ten minutes from Connaught Place, The Lodhi is across the road from the Delhi Golf Course and adjacent to the medieval village of Nizamuddin and Humayun’s impressive Tomb.

To enhance the relaxing experience, the Lodhi Spa and Hammam offers traditional Indian treatment and therapies, modern day international massage, beauty techniques, treatments, steam, scrubs and cleansing in separate male and female treatment areas. The Salon has creative styling and colour concepts and beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures, everything required for a day to pamper ourselves.

Its Technogym, Yoga and Pilates Studios have qualified personal trainers to assist with exercise and body fitness regimes. A 50 meter climate controlled lap pool, three all-weather tennis courts, and two air conditioned squash courts add to making this one of the best recreational areas in Delhi.

The Rooms, Suites and Apartments at The Lodhi are designed with a contemporary yet comfortable flair, drawing aesthetic references from local materials as well as the architecture and design of the region’s past and present.

The Lodhi New Delhi invites its guest to live a relaxing and peaceful experience in the heart of one of the most chaotic cities in the world, where luxury, modernity, and history meet.
