Small Group Journeys with &Beyond

Luxury experiential travel company &Beyond has launched an exclusive selection of Small Group Journeys. Designed with privacy, authenticity and flexibility in mind, these meticulously curated expeditions provide access to regions and experiences that lay off the beaten track, delving deep to the heart of each iconic destination.

Exceptional moments are created under the care of dedicated private guides, as well as experts in the fields of conservation, nature photography and much more. Exclusive transportation and signature experiences round off the trademarks of each Small Group Journey.

Among this exclusive set of activities is &Beyond’s private jet offering for 2019, designed for a maximum of just 12 guests and incorporating a set of unforgettable experiences of Africa. Shortened to just 12 days, journeys cover Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Guests also have the opportunity to extend their trip to Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Rwanda or Uganda.

Boasting conveniences such as exclusive transportation, the use of private airport terminals, as well as VIP assistance at customs and baggage claims, the private jet journeys are accompanied by a dedicated guide and cater for intimate groups. The Bombardier Challenger 350 private jet, ideally configured to accommodate small groups and families, is used on most of the international routes, with a Pilatus PC12 utilised for shorter hops between Kenya and Tanzania.

The itinerary touches down at iconic destinations that include the Masai Mara, Ngorongoro Crater, Victoria Falls, Kruger Park and Cape Town. Guests are given a behind-the-scenes taste of &Beyond’s conservation and community story with activities such as cultural excursions with the Masai and the opportunity to witness a rhino notching procedure. Standout hosts at various times during the journey include acclaimed wildlife documentary maker Jonathan Scott of Big Cat Diary fame, as well as activist Denis Goldberg, personal friend of the late Nelson Mandela. A celebratory banquet is also hosted by &Beyond CEO Joss Kent.

&Beyond’s Mobile Camping Expeditions in Botswana form another part of the Small Group Journeys collection. Boasting a choice of six different routes and accommodation options, these quintessential Africa safaris combine Botswana’s most iconic wildlife destinations with rustic but comfortable mobile camping accommodation.

&Beyond’s offering also extends to Asia, where the Snow Leopard Small Group Journey explores one of India’s most remote and beautiful destinations in search of the animal fondly known as the mountain ghost. Set in the Trans-Himalayn region of Ladakh known as Little Tibet, this incredible 13-day expedition allows guests to spend seven nights living with a local family, getting to know their unique culture and lifestyle.

Daily expeditions venture out in search of snow leopard, as well as other exceptional species that include ibex, Tibetan antelope, blue sheep, marmot and Tibetan hare. Offering a fascinating insight into unique wildlife and fascinating culture, the expedition is headed by a private guide and seamlessly managed by &Beyond’s ground logistics team.

In South America, &Beyond’s Land Rover Journeys include a selection of privately guided road trips off the beaten track in Chile and Argentina. Highlights include visits to conservation projects, white water rafting, private visits to boutique wineries, scenic flights over the Chilean fjords and many more.
