Stein Eriksen Deer Valley

Among the majestic mountains of Park City, Utah, there is a world covered in white. Soft snow decorates the pines, dancing in the air before falling on leafy branches. A winter wonderland, Deer Valley offers unparalleled natural beauty. Considered the best in America, the Deer Valley ski slopes match the standards of excellence in the area. Its hotels, restaurants and service reach a level of almost unimaginable perfection.

The most luxurious ski-in ski-out lodge in the world lies nestled in these breathtaking mountains. Named in honor of the legendary Norwegian ski champion Stein Eriksen, the Lodge opened around the early 80’s and has been recognized as one of the finest mountain resorts in the world, obtaining some of the industry's most prestigious recognitions, like Forbes Five Star.

Stein Eriksen Lodge’s homey touches and the beauty of its spacious rooms give us a delicious feeling of comfort, making us feel in Switzerland. The Lodge's abundance of charm comes from a wealth of custom-made unique touches. Specially selected fabrics and finishes vary from room to room, offering guests a variety of beautiful and unique atmospheres to select from.

The hotel has 184 rooms, all decorated differently and especially so that we feel at home. Its spa has all the services for you to relax after a long day of skiing, and is the only one in the area that has been recognized with Forbes Five Stars.

Looking forward to visiting this marvelous and unique Lodge once again this December, I reminisce about the amazing times I have spent within its walls. Skiing in Deer Valley, walking through its picturesque streets, talking to its people and tasting new and delicious dishes in its restaurants is always an unforgettable experience.

As in every trip, gastronomy is a key ingredient in getting to know and love a place. Forbes Four-Star dining awaits us at the Glitretind Restaurant in Stein Eriksen. Open for dinner daily and brunch every Sunday, a warm, luxurious environment is framed by stunning surrounding views of Deer Valley Resort.

Executive Chef, Zane Holmquist, focuses on seasonal menus and fresh, local, sustainable ingredients for his award-winning dishes and the knowledgeable sommelier is charged with selecting and pairing the wine for seasonal menus.
