The Venice of China

Suzhou, in China, is a millenia-old city, a World Heritage Site that has amazed hundreds of generations with its beauty. Its beautiful gardens were built by emperors and important families, and just like them, we delight with its peaceful water channels that run parallel to the streets. There is so much water running through this picturesque city, which is also known as Venice of China, and attracts travelers who love the country's history and eccentricity.

To venture into the picturesque streets of Suzhou is to delve into the past of the fascinating country of China. Authentic and extremely beautiful, this ancient city entangles and enamors you. From its historic Pingjiang Street, where we can spend hours between ancient buildings of traditional architecture along canals and crossing its small stone bridges, to its famous ancestral Garden of the Humble Administrator and the stunning cosmopolitan shopping center Suzhou Center, this is a destination where the luxurious modernity of China is perfectly intermingled with the unique flavor of its rich history.

I explored this delicately beautiful city from a hotel like no other, whose contrasting design integrates the past and present of Suzhou. A luxury and avant-garde hotel, where good taste and artistic talent have created sophisticated spaces that transcend aesthetic beauty and awaken in us a profound exaltation: W Suzhou.

Integrating architectural touches typical of the area, such as round doors and furniture inspired by water, the W Suzhou looks like a strange and fascinating combination of extravagant design and luxurious accommodations.

The magnificent design of the hotel extends to its exquisite restaurants, whose renowned kitchens have become in a short time the most trendy in the city. Dining at SU YAN, of redefined regional food, was a sensory experience, where each dish was more exquisite and impressive than the previous one. Its magnificent decoration, with typical red fabrics and stunning panoramic views, goes according to the delicious dishes that maintain the traditional Chinese flavors but play with innovative touches and artistic presentations.

W Suzhou is a luxury and avant-garde hotel, where good taste and artistic talent have created sophisticated spaces that transcend aesthetic beauty and awaken in us a deep exaltation. A reflection of the beauty and soul of the city, this daring and authentic hotel is a destination in itself.
